A few weeks ago we received 14 pages of "thank you notes" from our first graduating class of church planters. The program in Ukraine was two years long for seventy-six nationals to plant seventy- six churches!

The original goal was to plant 125 churches in four years. They are ahead of schedule, to the glory of God. Many of them are expressing their gratitude for having been enabled to launch a church which they can now pastor.

According to the plan all of these workers were to turn around and plant a second church after the first two years. Nearly fifty of them are choosing to remain with the church they have now planted. This opens up the opportunity for another fifty to be sponsored into planting their own church as well.

As wonderful as the achievement is, we could easily be doing twice as much or even three times as much. There is one couple who single-handedly is sponsoring all seventy six church planters. We are praying that the Lord will bring more sponsoring couples.

It doesn't have to be such a large undertaking. But each church planter sponsored has a great impact on an entire community and brings in many people into the Kingdom of Light.
