We are excited to get going in Japan as well as in the Far East. Our first major campaign is scheduled for summer 2007. We are in preparation stages with churches in the country as well as churches in the U.S. Think of it; we will soon be able to lead many Japanese people to know Christ as their Savior.

The sharing of the Gospel is also accompanied by making disciples. We are pursuing the plans to train and deploy many of the Latin Americans who live in that land (750,000) to be a real evangelistic force for the Lord of the Harvest.

We know we must be on the right track because Satan has already shown strong opposition. We are praying and using the experiences to sharpen our efforts. We believe that God is using the opposition to direct us to the exact victories He pretends.

The need of the hour in Japan is for more people to join us in future campaigns and for partners at home to take stock in reaching Japan for Christ. In the first phase of training and deploying the local Latin Americans we will need $5000 per month. Please pray with us that we may be able to fuel the vision with the human resources and the financial resources. May we all work together for the salvation of the millions that are yet at risk in Japan.

In a recent trip, I was blessed to be the preacher for baptisms of new believers on Lake Yamanaka, on the foothills of Mount Fuji. Pastor Makiyama is a kindred spirit who even prior to our meeting had a similar vision. He has told his contacts and friends throughout Japan that God called him to plant a Hispanic church as a launching pad to reach Japanese people.

When Pastor Makiyama heard that we had that very purpose ourselves, he was eager for us to partner together. He is excited for the evangelistic campaign we are bringing in summer 2007 and would like to personally follow up as many people as possible.

The new believers braved fifty plus degree weather to follow the Lord in baptism. We sang and gave testimonies on the beach, the Japanese people have rarely if ever seen anything like this.

The rest of the trip provided opportunities to preach to different congregations in different cities of Japan. There are currently more than one hundred Hispanic congregations in Japan.
