I just got back from Barcelona, Spain. Among other things, I was there to also do a wedding for two of our students, Marcos and Priscilla. Talk about exciting! These two students are a wonderful representation of the essence of the ministry that you and we are involved in. They are deeply in love with each other. But more importantly they are absolutely immersed in a vision of greatness about serving the Lord for the rest of their lives!
Their enthusiasm is obvious as they are not only elated about making their marriage a reality, but also because they are fully aware that they are on God’s side. They have made a life commitment to serve Him as a lifelong career and in turn they feel God is on their side with all the promises for life and ministry.
It was a wonderful celebration that saw the convergence of not only their two lives, but also the convergence of lives united to their Savior and Lord for His service and purposes.
These are only two of a host of students either returning or coming in for the first time to our training programs in the different countries. It is EXCITING to be able to see that His Word has gone out and it is not returning void, but it is accomplishing the purpose for which He has sent it forth.
We have a record enrollment in the Spain programs, but what else is new? This seems to be the story year after year, by His grace.
But here is the bottom line: The new ministry year is bringing us a greater and very enthusiastic and energetic evangelizing force to proclaim the glad tidings and to plant churches in many regions of the world. There are many, many people, who are coming to us because they have found out that we are effecting change by proclaiming the Gospel and planting churches in their countries.
