The Cardo in Jerusalem, The Market Place where Jesus walked

Many of the sites in Israel, which claim to be sites of events in the Old or New Testament, are debated as to their geographical accuracy. The Cardo, or the market place is one of the best attested. Other than the fact that the floor where Jesus walked is about 20 to 30 feet below, the current Cardo is in the same place as it was back then. The Sea of Galilee is in the same place, Mt. of Olives is in the same place, etc! Thankfully the list of the sites that are where they always were is huge!
To take the field trip is to make your Bible study and Bible knowledge take a gigantic leap forward. We are going from May 29 to June 5, 2011.Trust the Lord to enable you to make the trip!

Grand goal for 2011: Visit Israel! You’ll never read the Bible in the same way again.

A perfect Christmas Resolution…

Consider the Biblical exhortation from Psalm 48:

Walk about Zion, go around her,
   count her towers,
consider well her ramparts,
   view her citadels,
that you may tell of them
   to the next generation.
For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end.

A perfect Christmas Resolution…
would be to go see the sites where Jesus was born and raised and had the ministry you have heard of all these years. The experience will transform your understanding of the Bible and your walk with the Lord. Every time thereafter, when you read your Bible, or hear it taught, your mind will come alive with mental images and “videos” of the places you have been to!

We are going from Spain from May 29th to June 6th. The airfare, hotels, meals and ground transportation, tickets to enter the sites are ALL INCLUDED!

The Joy of Serving Him

Praising God for the wonderful Joy of Serving Him.
It is our prayer that a genuine effort would be made to get in touch with the many mercies that the Lord showers on all of our lives. It says in Lamentations(!) at a time when the nation had been ransacked and devastated that: “the Faithful love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness!” Lam. 3:22-24.
How much more, we who are kept from judgment, do we have reasons to praise His faithfulness.
Have a real, meaningful, Thanksgiving!
I have been made aware that I did not say where the picture posted was taken. The place is the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. The cameras are there because we were doing a video to share about the work we are doing in Israel. There are great testimonies recorded in the ten minute segment. If you want to see it you can go to the “ministries” section on our web and scroll down to Israel (or CLICK HERE). The video is there and you can see a lot of our partners there. The Mount of Olives shoot was to record the significance of the Great Commission at that site.
